SAN FRANCISCO — As the weekend wraps up, we've rounded up all the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

But before we jump into Northern California’s top stories: After a rather toasty Mother's Day, the Bay Area can expect plenty of warmth throughout the week. San Francisco will stick to the high 60s, while San Jose will climb back into the high 80s by Tuesday. After a spate of morning fog over the weekend, clear skies should win out for at least the next few days.

Catching up on the weekend, San Francisco officials are warning of a new scam targeting people with lost pets, and Oakland teachers are one step closer to ending their strike. Plus, the Silicon Valley Water District is throwing its weight behind legislation to help more people living along Bay Area waterways to get inside.
