Person Rescued After 50-Foot Fall From San Francisco Cliff
The victim was taken to a trauma center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A person was seriously injured after falling about 50 feet from a cliff in San Francisco, authorities said.
Crews rescued the victim early Saturday morning near Sansome and Union streets, according to the San Francisco Fire Department. Firefighters used an aerial ladder from Truck 13 to reach the victim, who was stranded on a steep hillside covered in brush.
First responders secured the patient on a stretcher and lowered them down the aerial ladder to a waiting ambulance, officials said. The victim was taken to a trauma center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
