Rain Chances To Arrive Monday Night In The Bay Area
The North Bay may have the best shot for rain early in the week, but some drizzle will be possible across much of the region.
SAN FRANCISCO — Rain is on the way to the Bay.
At least to the North Bay. The National Weather Service said on social media at 2:17 p.m. Sunday it expects up to a quarter inch of rain in North Bay Area valleys, with isolated spots in the higher elevations reaching a half-inch to three-quarters of an inch.
Drizzle will extend south into parts of the rest of the Bay Area down to the Santa Cruz Mountains, with totals of a few hundredths of an inch.

Most of the rain will come Monday evening into Tuesday morning.
The NWS says it will be the first significant amount of rain in the Bay Area since May.
