San Francisco Car Chase: One Suspect Arrested
BREAKING: The pursuit ended in the area of 16th and Seventh streets, near the UC San Francisco Mission Bay campus.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A suspect was taken into custody after a pursuit in San Francisco on Tuesday night, according to police. At about 10:30 p.m., officers in the area of Van Ness Avenue and Grove Street spotted a Saturn sedan that was wanted in an ongoing investigation, police said.
A pursuit ensued that ended in the area of 16th and Seventh streets, near the University of California at San Francisco Mission Bay campus, where the suspect vehicle struck a curb and crashed, according to
police.
The driver was detained and then taken to a hospital for observation. Two passengers in the vehicle were briefly detained before being released, police said. The driver's name has not been released as of early this morning.
