Bay Area Power Restored After Outage Affected Over 1,000 Customers

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Pacific Gas & Electric has reported on their outage map that power is restored in San Francisco's Sunset District.
Initially the outage was impacting over 1,000 customers. Power had been restored to one neighborhood but still 546 customers in San Francisco were without power.
The outage started around 9:32 a.m. in San Francisco's Sunset District. PG&E estimated the power would be restored by about noon.

The outage primarily impacted the Lakeshore and Merced Manor neighborhoods.
The cause of the power outage is not known.
