Sexual Assault Suspect At Large In San Francisco, Police Warn
Police are looking for a man suspected of attacking a woman on the street in the Cayuga Terrace area. He may have injuries on his hands.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Investigators are seeking the public's help in suspect involved in a sexual assault case in the Cayuga Terrace neighborhood, the San Francisco Police Department announced on Friday.
On June 12 at 6:23 a.m., 20-year-old woman said she was walking near Bannock Street and Seneca Avenue when a man bumped into her. She was then assaulted from behind by the man on the 1200 block of Cayuga Street, according to police records.
The woman said the suspect forced her to the ground, restricted her breathing and sexually assaulted her. She was able to fight off the man, and he fled the scene on foot northbound on Cayuga Avenue, said police.

The suspect is described to be a 5-foot man last wearing a red sweatshirt, dark pants and dark shoes. His fingers or hands may have injuries from the victim.
