This influencer built a luxury baby-naming enterprise that began on social media.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A woman in the Bay Area charges tens of thousands of dollars to help families name their newborns, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
Taylor A. Humphrey's boutique business is a shining example of San Francisco's bustling tech industry and TikTok-era entrepreneurship, the Chronicle wrote.
Humphrey's business began posting a decade ago about her obsession with baby names. Now, she has some 100,000 followers between TikTok and Instagram and a portfolio of 500 names she has helped pick out.

These "baby branding" services cost up to $30,000.
"Selecting a moniker for your little one is a creative decision with life-long implications, and sometimes parents have trouble picking 'the perfect name' for their newborn," her website, whatsinababyname.com says.

Humphrey, herself, was named after 1980s soap opera actress Taylor Miller.
“There’s a lot more to this job than people realize,” she told the Chronicle. “Sometimes, I get calls from clients that are so urgent that I need to drop everything and help them right away.”
