Sting To Headline Exclusive Pre-Superbowl Concert In SF: 'Once-In-A-Lifetime Experience'

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Sting, the 17-time Grammy-winning artist and former The Police frontman, will headline an exclusive concert in San Francisco ahead of the NFL's Super Bowl LX, the musician announced Tuesday.

The performance will take place at The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco during Super Bowl weekend on Feb. 6, 2026. It will be the first in a series of concerts taking place ahead of Super Bowl LX, which will be played at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara on Feb. 8, 2026.

"Witnessing a larger-than-life icon like Sting perform in an intimate venue such as The Palace of Fine Arts on Super Bowl weekend is a once-in-a-lifetime experience," said Paul Caine, President of On Location, which is partnering with the NFL to curate Super Bowl festivities. "The Super Bowl is more than just a game, and On Location delivers more than just a ticket.

Tickets for Sting's performance start at $750. They promise an all-inclusive experience and appearance by NFL legends.

The announcement comes in the weeks after the NFL announced that Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny would be headlining the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show. That selection sparked controversy, with President Donald Trump calling the selection "absolutely ridiculous."

But for his fans, Bad Bunny’s booking at the Super Bowl is viewed as a landmark moment for Latino culture. The artist, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, is a known global hitmaker who ties his music to Puerto Rican identity, colonial politics and immigrant struggles.
