Based on court records, Ramirez was allegedly part of an organized group behind a series of thefts at Walgreens, Safeway, ZGO Perfumery, Smart & Final, BevMo, and LensCrafters across San Francisco from Dec. 10, 2023 through April 17 of this year. He also allegedly vandalized property multiple times, and has used the threat of force and fear to steal in three other cases.
Ramirez, who will appear in court on June 10 to set his preliminary hearing date, remains in custody after prosecutors moved to have him detained pending trial. No bail was set for him.
