Wells Fargo Renews A Big Lease For An East Bay Domain, Downsizes Elsewhere
Wells Fargo renewed the lease on a 257,000-square-foot office in the East Bay after slashing the size of its headquarters by half.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Wells Fargo renewed the lease on a 257,000-square-foot office in Concord after slashing the size of its San Francisco headquarters by half, according to reports.
San Francisco Business Times reported that Wells Fargo will occupy three floors of 1655 Grant St., part of the Concord Tech Center.
The move comes six years after Wells Fargo cut 350 employees and closed its last location on Concord Avenue.

The company announced Wells Fargo would move its non-branch operations in Concord downtown to Swift Plaza in 2020.
The financial institution occupied two Grant Avenue offices totaling 335,000 square feet near the Concord BART Station, with more than 2,000 employees, according to local reports.
