
The San Mateo Union High School District’s Board of Trustees has approved a process to appoint a replacement for former Trustee Dave Pine. He won a to fill a vacant seat on the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors.
The District’s application form is available on the district website, www.smuhsd.org, and at the district office, 650 N. Delaware St., in San Mateo.
The deadline for turning in an application is 3 p.m. July 6 at the district office. During a special public meeting of the trustees set for July 14, prospective applicants—who must be at least 18-years-old, a citizen of California, a resident of the District and a registered voter—will be interviewed by the current board members.

A replacement for Pine is to be selected at the conclusion of the interview session. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. in Conference Room A at the district office. For more information, contact Superintendent Scott Laurence at 650-558-2201.
