This community information fair will offer workshops and resources to residents affected by the Sept. 9 fire. The following are the sessions being offered:
- Inventorying and Valuing The Contents of Your Home: Experts will offer tips on listing your personal property for insurance recovery and preparedness and free United Policyholders Home Inventory flash drive tools will be distributed. 1pm
- Repair/Rebuilding 101: Working with construction professionals. 2pm
- Insurance Negotiations: Resolving disputes over repair methods and costs. 3pm
- Rebuild or Buy: Financial considerations (insurance, tax and real estate). 4pm
The fair will also feature local businesses and nonprofit organizations that have products and services to assist in the rebuilding process; disaster recovery, preparedness tools and resources; as well as information provided by representatives from the city, PG&E and the San Bruno Longterm Recovery Group.
