Dec. 31
2:49am. A stolen car was reported on the 900 block of Montgomery Avenue.
3:42pm. Police received a report of an identity theft on the 2400 block of Lexington Way in which someone's name, birth date, Social Security number and address were used to open four credit card accounts.

8:58pm. Police received a call about fireworks being illegally set off on the 3900 block of Coronado Way.

Jan. 1
Sometime between midnight and 12:13am, police reported finding fireworks in the middle of the street on the 600 block of Sixth Avenue. The fireworks were seized, police said.
2:15am. Police received a call about a fist fight in a parking lot near .
4:23pm. Police received a report of a missing child from a man who said he dropped off his 15-year-old daughter near 840 Fourth Ave. the night before and he hadn't been able to reach her since then.
10am. Police received a report about a man who was caught on video kicking the door and cracking a window to a store on the 2000 block of Rollingwood Drive.
Sometime between 11:28am and 1:16pm, police received a call about an iPhone being stolen from someone near .
1:16pm. Police received a report from someone on the 100 block of Santa Lucia Avenue who came home and found the rear sliding glass door suspiciously shattered and a hole in the wall.
2:43pm. Police received a report of an identity theft on the 200 block of Mastick Avenue in which someone's name and Social Security number were used to open three accounts.
2:46pm. Police received a call about a loose "vicious" Rottweiler that kept going into someone's garage on the 3200 block of Fasman Drive and growling.
9:55pm. Police received a report of a residential burglary on the 200 block of Cypress Avenue in which the rear sliding glass door had been unlocked and a purse, sunglasses and an iPad were stolen.
Jan. 2
12:34am. Police received a call about multiple shots possibly being fired on the 200 block of Milton Avenue.
2:55pm. A resident on the 800 block of Commodore Drive reported to police that someone attempted to break into her apartment. Out of concern, she told police that she went to sleep with the front door lock and heavy items blocking the inside.
Jan. 3
8:55pm. Police received a report of a minivan being broken into on the 1300 block of El Camino Real.
