Shops At Tanforan Shooting In San Bruno: 2 Shot
Police said the Shops At Tanforan will reopen Wednesday morning and there is no word on any arrests.

UPDATE 9:30 p.m.: An hours-long police investigation outside the Shops At Tanforan mall in San Bruno wound down on Tuesday evening, and officials said that roads in the area are back open. What's more, BART trains and SamTrans buses are back running on their normal schedule.
"The surrounding parking lots are now accessible and vehicles can be recovered," police said in an emailed alert. "The Tanforan Mall will be closed until tomorrow morning at 10 am. All property left behind in the mall can be retrieved tomorrow morning upon opening; the Mall will be secured and locked throughout the night for safety."
As of late Tuesday evening, there was no word on any arrests in the case, nor suspect descriptions.

As for the victims in the case, a hospital spokesman said a boy is in critical condition and another is in serious condition.

UPDATE 7 p.m.: Police confirm two people were hurt in Tuesday’s shooting at the Shops At Tanforan in San Bruno and say they are searching for the shooter or shooters responsible. Authorities said emergency personnel would remain at the mall throughout the evening.
“Upon arrival San Bruno Police Officers encountered two victims of apparent gunshot wounds,” police said in a news release Tuesday evening. “Both victims have been transported to local hospitals for treatment. Officers are conducting a systematic search of the building and the surrounding areas.”
Just before 8 p.m., police said all vehicles parked in the Shops At Tanforan, Target and BART parking lots would be accessible in the next "several hours." Police said the Shops At Tanforan will reopen Wednesday morning.

SAN BRUNO, CA -- San Bruno police are asking the public to steer clear of the city's busy mall on Tuesday afternoon, after a shooting was reported at the location. A heavy police presence has been reported in the area.
Police first reported the incident around 4:15 p.m. at the Shops At Tanforan, which is located in the 100 block of El Camino Real.
"San Bruno Police Department is on scene investigating a shooting," police said in an emailed alert. "Please stay out of the area."
BART officials say they've also closed off the San Bruno station as a result of the police activity.
"There is no service beyond South San Francisco to San Bruno, SFO or Millbrae. There is a shuttle train between SFO and Millbrae. Please seek alternate forms of transportation," the agency said on Twitter.
Additional details surrounding the shooting were not immediately available, but police said they'd provide updates as they learn more.
