VIDEO: Olympic Torch Run Passes Through South City

A woman who works in San Bruno went to the grocery store to buy some lunch for her employees as a good deed. When she got out, she saw another good deed unfold.

Kim Cilia, the branch manager at in San Bruno, was just walking out of the Safeway store on El Camino Real near Spruce Avenue in South San Francisco when she saw a bunch of police sirens.

It was about 1 p.m. today, and she had just bought some food that she was going to give to her employees as a sign of gratitude for all their hard work this week.

At first, she thought it was funeral procession because traffic was blocked.

That brief exciting moment was part of today's Law Enforcement Torch Run, a grassroots fundraiser for this year's Special Olympics, being held on the weekend of June 22 at U.C. Davis.
