What's Open, Closed on Memorial Day 2012 in San Bruno
Government offices and banks will be closed, but all city parks and the national cemetery will be open.

Looking to do any government business or banking today?
Probably not the best idea. But no worries. It's a holiday.
So here's what's open and closed on this Memorial Day:

All city offices—including the , and —will be closed in observance of the federal holiday.
All public schools in the are closed.

Major banks are closed as well.
Caltrain and SamTrans will both be running on Sunday schedules, with Caltrain operating 32 trains between San Francisco and San Jose in addition to baseball specials for the Giants game at AT&T Park in San Francisco. Just like Caltrain, BART will be operating on a Sunday schedule.
There will also be no regular mail service today. However, garbage collection will remain on a regular schedule and street parking restrictions will remain the same.
So what's open today?
The city's 16 neighborhood parks are open, and is open as well.
The doors to The Shops at Tanforan will be open.
