Man Arrested, Accused Of Raping His Coworker

SAN CARLOS, CA -- A 38-year-old Boise man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of rape on the 3300 block of Brittan Avenue in San Carlos, the San Mateo County Sheriff's Department reported.

Sheriff's deputies took David William Pruitt into custody for accusations that he coerced the victim who he works with to have sex with him at a San Carlos apartment at 5:20 p.m. the day before his arrest at about midnight. The victim had filed the report just before Pruitt was taken into custody, the sheriff's department indicated.
