Owner of the San Carlos shop, Huan Hoang, plans on opening additional locations in Menlo Park, Mountain View and Sunnyvale in the future, the company said.
Hoang said he was drawn to the Pizza Guys franchise as he knows a good pizza pie.
“When I first came here from Vietnam, one of the first foods I ate was pizza,” he said. “It has since become a very nostalgic food for me, and I can always tell a good cheese pizza when I see one. I developed a love for the pizza industry and the Pizza Guys products, in general."
The new business, at 796 El Camino Real, is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Menu can be viewed and orders placed online here.
