Two-vehicle Crash Kills Redwood City Woman In San Carlos

SAN CARLOS, CA -- A Redwood City woman died as a result of a crash Tuesday on westbound Holly Street at the U.S. Highway 101 southbound off ramp in San Carlos.

San Mateo County deputies responded to the two-vehicle collision at 6:33 a.m. and discovered a woman identified as Lucy Kenney, 61, unconscious and not breathing in a Honda HR-V.

The driver and two passengers of the Ford F-250 pickup truck towing a travel trailer carrying landscaping equipment were unhurt and declined medical attention.

Both vehicles were blocking the right lane of traffic on Holly Street.

The investigation is ongoing and the cause of the collision has yet to be determined at this time.
