2 Teens Injured In Orange County Crash

SAN CLEMENTE, CA -- Two teenager were injured Sunday evening after being hit by a car in San Clemente. The incident happened around 9 p.m. in the 3000 block of Eminencia Del Sur, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

Officials on Twitter said a teenager was driving his car when he lost control and crashed into a parked car, which then hit two minors walking near the car.

Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital where one sustained minor injuries, and another was critically injured, officials said.

Officials said the driver remained at the scene and it did not appear that the driver was impaired.

The investigation is ongoing and will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office to determine if charges will be filed, officials said.
