Boys & Girls Gear up for Auction with Art of Their Own

As the April 21 Art for Kids' Sake Auction and Wine Tasting event approaches, the kids at the San Clemente Boys & Girls Club are finishing up their brightly painted bottles for sale alongside paintings from members of the San Clemente Art Association.

The auction, fundraiser and wine-tasting will feature live, award-winning musicians, light refreshments, and of course, gourmet wines and beers. The Exchange Club of San Clemente and the event venue -- Casino San Clemente -- have partnered to put on the event.

The kids' bottles are a great in expensive way to sponsor the club -- each of the about 150 bottles sells for $10 and 100 percent of the proceeds goes to the Boys & Girls Club. Also, 100 percent of the $40 ticket price goes to the club's general fund to support vital educational and sports programs for San Clemente kids.
