CRIME: Hysterics over Lost Smartphone, Death Threats to Brea Mom
The following are reports compiled from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log over the past few days.

At 8:41 p.m., Thursday, a male caller reported that his mother was received life threatening calls onΒ Camino de Estrella and the 5-Freeway. The caller was reporting from the Trader Joe's and said heΒ received a frantic phone call from his mother in Brea stating that people were trying to kill her. DuringΒ the call he said she was crying and that she couldnβt leave her home without being executed.Β
At 2:22 a.m., Wednesday, A couple reported a burglary in their home on Calle de Los Alamos. The coupleΒ living in the single story house with the master bedroom at the rear of the residence heard footstepsΒ in the backyard and locked the entrance to the room. Responding deputies were advised enterΒ through the back alley and into the backyard.Β
At 9:57 a.m. Tuesday, a hysterical caller in a hotel lobby on La Esperanze and Calle Cortez reported his phone was missing. He told deputies that his phone was showing up on the tracker but he was unable toΒ track the phone inside the hotel.Β
At 8:53 a.m. Tuesday, a caller asked Caltrans to repaint the traffic lines on North Los Mares because it isΒ too confusing. The caller wanted deputies to take a look at the lines set up because of roadΒ construction and thinks thatΒ people will get in accidents.Β
At 5:02 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a man cursing and throwing hot water all over the street onΒ Avenida Mateo and Avenida Rosa. The caller described the man in his late 40βs, possibly transient,Β standing outside of a doughnut shopΒ with a back pack. It was unknown if he were still outside of the business.
