Flash Flood watch issued in OC Coastal Areas.

According to the National Weather Service, a flash flood watch is in effect for the coastal areas of Orange County, including San Clemente.

Heavy rains will continue late afternoon through Wednesday, and rivers and streams will be flowing unusually high, swollen by even heavier rains in the Mountains.

Watch out for ponding on the roads -- standing pools of rainwater will cause traffic problems, the Weather Service states.
