Just Because It's Summer Doesn't Mean We Can't Have Movies in the Park

The city of San Clemente is planning its first move in the park with "Frozen."

From the city of San Clemente:

The city of San Clemente invites you to the first “Movie in the Park” event featuring the popular Disney film, FROZEN.

This is a family night you will not want to miss with fun and adventure. Join us at Tierra Grande Park, located at 399 Camino Tierra Grande, on 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17 (the movie starts promptly at 6:30 p.m.). Set up your blankets or low back chairs to watch the movie in the night sky on a large screen. Children are invited to come dressed as their favorite prince or princess to celebrate the magic of Disney.

The movie night is free and popcorn will be sold for a nominal fee. Don’t forget your cameras since there will be a FROZEN photo opportunity to capture the night! There will also be a San Clemente Playschool Open House in the play center building, located at Tierra Grande Park. Families are welcome to explore the preschool programs and color FROZEN movie scenes inside.

The city of San Clemente thanks the Friends of the Beaches, Parks, and Recreation Foundation and the San Clemente Youth Task Force for their support to make this event possible. For more information, contact the City of San Clemente Recreation Division at (949) 429-8797 or (949) 361-8264.
