Local Author and Football Coach Inspires New Book “4th and 1 Mindset
Coach Mikki Breaks Barriers and Builds Champions, On and off the Field.
San Clemente, CA — In a town known for its coastal beauty and laid-back charm, one local woman is charging down a different field, football. Coach Mikki St. Germain, a trailblazing football coach and transformational speaker, is turning heads with the release of her new book, 4th and 1 Mindset, a playbook for athletes, entrepreneurs, and anyone facing life’s defining moments.
Coach Mikki made history by entering the football world at age 45, and despite the odds, As a head coach, led a team of just 17 players, some who had never picked up a football, to a Super Bowl victory. With players rotating through offense, defense, and special teams, her leadership proved that heart, discipline, and belief can overcome any challenge. Since then, she’s risen to become a Special Teams Coordinator and Defensive Line Coach at the high school level, while mentoring college athletes across the country.
Now, she brings those lessons from the field to the page in 4th and 1 Mindset. The title itself refers to one of football’s most intense moments, 4th and 1, when the game is on the line and the next move matters most. For Coach Mikki, it’s more than strategy, it’s a metaphor for life.
