Two murals are proposed for the location: a round floor mural and a rectangular wall mural. The floor mural is of the Bartow House, a beautiful Spanish Colonial home that is no longer standing, and the wall mural is of the Ole Hanson Beach Club. The murals are in the same artistic style of those previously installed, and were created by artist Michael King who is again creating this latest mural.

In 2007, the City’s Planning Commission approved eight locations for the tile murals along Avenida Del Mar. The installations started at the top of the street and are being created as funding becomes available. A ribbon cutting will be planned in the near future for this latest addition.
