Thursday, October 31st from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM - Harvest Festival - at Calvary San Clemente located at 1031 Calle Recodo. A free, fun and safe evening for families, couples and singles, making a positive impact on community while stamping out hunger.

“In these times, it is more important than ever before, to provide a safe and healthy environment for kids and adults to celebrate the beginning of the harvest season with lots of fun and friendly fellowship”, stated Pastor Holland Davis. “While serving our community with this event, we also wish to support and raise awareness for a very special local cause, feeding the food-insecure children of San Clemente. These are children from all walks of life who, through no fault or control of their own, are caught up in challenging economic conditions that determine what, if anything, they will have to eat.”

According to Capistrano Unified School District, over 6,500 of their students are food insecure. During the week, they depend on school cafeteria food to meet their basic nutrition needs, but many of them have very little to eat over the weekends, and return to school weak and tired, negatively impacting their ability to learn. been identified as at-risk due to food insecurity. Feed The Kids SC launched in January 2024, supplying weekend food to ten kids from one San Clemente elementary school. Within six months, this program grew to feed 52 kids from eight CUSD schools. Currently, this program provides six meals per student every weekend, for a total of 312 meals delivered every week.

Harvest Festival attendees will have a great evening of music and activities, and will know that they are supporting a great cause by purchasing food, drinks, and raffle tickets.
