The San Clemente Pier was humming with activity Sunday as the San Clemente Chamber of Commerce hosted the annual Seafest and chowder cook-off.

Crowds pack the beach and restaurants like Fisherman's and Sunset's as chowder contestants doled out cups of the thick seafood soup.

Businesses, restaurants and individuals competed in the contest.
