San Clemente Hosts 'Open House' For City-Owned Lot
City council members are still deciding what to do with the surplus property located on the corner of Avenida Vista Hermosa and Av. La Pata.
SAN CLEMENTE, CA — San Clemente residents curious about potential development of the city lot on the corner of Avenida Vista Hermosa and Av. La Pata may want to mark their calendars for Thursday.
The City of San Clemente will host an "open house" at Vista Hermosa Sports Park, and residents are invited to learn more about potential development on the city-owned lot as well as voice comments or concerns to officials and a possible developer.
City council members have yet to vote on whether or not to move forward with a purchase and sale agreement for this lot, which is located next to Orange County Fire Station No. 59. The lot is a commercial property and has received various sale offers since 2019. It is currently designated as surplus property.
