Skater Sheckler's Mom Seeks New Private Skate Park Permit
San Clemente Pro Skater Ryan Sheckler, 19, and his family plan to relocate his private indoor skateboard training facility.
Gretchen Sheckler, the mother of famed San Clemente skate board pro Ryan Sheckler, is applying with the city of San Clemente to build her son a new private training facility off Calle Amanecer.
The training facility will be 9,200 square feet. The Shecklers will use the attached 1,500 square feet of office space to run the Sheckler Foundation and other family businesses, according to city documents.
The Shecklers now have a private facility in the same business park at 950 Calle Amanecer, but their lease expired and they plan to move down the street to the 1000 block of Amanecer, according to city documents.
