SONIC OC: Honk if You Love Honk
The Orange County band is the epitome of '70s surf rock.
In honor of the , the and the , we found a video from seminal local surf rock band Honk.
In fact, members of Honk were slated to play at Saturday's festival.
Honk's first album was the soundtrack to the surf film classic Five Summer Stories. The band went on to make several more albums before breaking up in 1975. Since then, the group has gotten together for many reunion performances, according to its website.
