A woman was the victim of a strong-arm robbery near the Kmart shopping center early Thursday morning.
The victim called deputies at 2:27 a.m. from the corner of Camino De La Estrella and Camino Mira Costa, reporting a thin transient man with gray hair and beard, wearing a blue shirt and ripped-up jeans had just robbed her of $100, according to reports.
The man had no weapon, and the woman wasn't injured. She told deputies the suspect ran off behind a church.

No arrest had been listed in the reports as of 5:30 a.m. Thursday, but Orange County Sheriff's Department Lt. Joe Balicki said the suspect may be in custody, but not yet processed.
