Business Leaders Join Mission Preservation Board of Directors

Mission San Juan Capistrano Welcomes Trevor Baird and Seth Teigen as Newest Mission Preservation Foundation Board Members

The Mission Preservation Foundation proudly welcomes Trevor Baird, owner of Trevor’s At The Tracks and Providence Mission Hospital Chief Executive Seth R. Teigen to its Board of Directors. The Mission Preservation Foundation is committed to the comprehensive preservation work ensuring Mission San Juan Capistrano remains the most significant historic site in Orange County.

Mission Preservation Foundation President George O’Connell said, “The addition of these two competent and engaged community leaders will help to ensure that the future of the Mission Landmark continues in a forward and positive direction. I’m grateful that they accepted the invitation and know that they will bring a lot to the table as together, we look ahead to casting a wider net of support for the care, preservation and stewardship of Orange County’s only Mission. They are both terrific people and will no doubt bring additional enthusiasm and new insights.”

Trevor Baird has served in hospitality for the past 23 years and opened his signature San Juan Capistrano restaurant Trevor’s At The Tracks in February 2017. He grew up in South Orange County and visited the Mission San Juan Capistrano many times in his youth. As a local business owner, he now supports many Mission San Juan causes and events.

Baird is committed to the importance of preservation - both natural and cultural – and reflects, “I am truly honored and grateful to be considered to join such an esteemed group of professionals who are so deeply invested into the preservation of the Jewel of the Missions.”

As Chief Executive of Providence Mission Hospital, Seth Teigen is an experienced healthcare executive with over 27 years of experience in non-profit, healthcare systems. In his current role, he oversees all aspects of acute care services at the Mission Viejo and Laguna Beach hospital campuses, as well as Providence Mission Hospital’s clinics, ambulatory centers and associated businesses. He serves on the board of Providence Mission Hospital, Providence Mission Hospital Foundation, South Orange County Economic Coalition, Camino Health Center, Mission Ambulatory Surgery Center, and is an active participant in the Hospital Association of Southern California.

Teigen remarked, “I am honored to be joining the Mission Preservation Foundation Board of Directors. As a community member, Mission San Juan Capistrano is one of our favorite places to visit as a family. The history and beauty of the restoration of this site is a reminder to us all what a community can accomplish when they come together around a common cause, and I am excited to continue living out that legacy! “

Baird resides in Laguna Niguel with his wife, Tiffany and two young sons. Teigen and his wife, Nicole also have two young boys and live in Laguna Niguel.
