The Farewell to the Swallows 2014 BBQ: Let's Eat!

San Juan Capistrano said farewell -- or adios -- Saturday the legendary swallows as they head to their winter home in Argentina.

The occasion demanded a fiesta, which took place at the new Reata Park and Event Center.

The event, which featured live music, dancing, games and food (of course), also kicks off the upcoming Fiesta de las Golondrinas season.

In other words, we say goodbye and then we quickly get to work on the welcome back party.
