San Juan Capistrano Crews Battle Vegetation Fire

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA -- A vegetation fire was reported Sunday afternoon in San Juan Capistrano. The fire was reported around 3 p.m. near Calle Arroyo and Interstate 5, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.

Around 3:45 p.m., officials said forward progress of the fire stopped at about one-fourth of an acre.

Twenty firefighters and two helicopters were dispatched to the scene.

The fire is under investigation, officials said.
