Green-Eyed 'Scarf Cat' Needs a Home

This is Cleo. As evidenced by her torn ear, she has not had the easiest life.

Her caretakers at say that she has not had much human affection but that she has learned to snuggle with her hind feet and that she pets her face with her toes. She purrs like mad at the touch of a human hand, but since affection is new to her, it can sometimes it can be overwhelming.

One look into her green eyes (with a beauty-spot on the left one) you can see that she is a sweet cat. She is quite playful and, once she learns to trust you, she is very tender and quite the lap cat. One of her caretakers calls her a “scarf cat,” since her favorite place to be is crawled up on your shoulder and snuggling on your neck.

Please call CARE to set up an appointment at 949-240-1735 or visit
