'Mass Capitalism' Author to Speak in SJC Sunday

Come on down to THE Bookstore on Sunday to hear all about how we are (or are not) recovering from the economic malaise we’ve been in for years and what we can do about it.

Apek Mulay will discuss his new book, Mass Capitalism and what we can do about the slump Main Street businesses find themselves in since the Great Recession.

We’ll kick off the book launch with special refreshments during the book signing immediately after his talk.

Oh, and by the way, next week is National Friends of Libraries Week. Yes, there actually is such a national designation. So we thought it fitting to have a dual celebration.

So come on down – meet old Friends and make ones – and enjoy some special refreshments, live music by local award-winning harpist, Julio Montero, and hear about present day solutions to our economic doldrums. And buy a book or three to enjoy on these cool, crisp autumn nights.
