Real Estate Agent Attacked Outside a Home in South O.C.

A 55-year-old real estate agent was injured Saturday when a man attacked her outside a home in Laguna Niguel, causing injuries to her face and neck.

The assault happened just before 1 p.m. in the 24000 block of Paseo Del Campo, Orange County sheriff’s Lt. Lloyd Downing said.

A man who witnessed the attack scuffled with the suspect, who escaped, Downing said.

The woman suffered moderate injuries to her neck and face and was taken to a hospital for treatment, he said.

“She’s OK, but the suspect is still outstanding,” Downing said.

A description of the attacker was not available, he said.
