San Clemente Massage Therapist Charged with Inappropriately Touching Women

The Orange County District Attorney’s Office and the Orange County Sheriff’s Department are seeking the public’s help identifying potential additional victims of a massage therapist who inappropriately touched two women in his San Clemente massage parlor business.

Ping Li, 51, San Clemente, was charged today with four misdemeanor counts of sexual battery. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of two years in jail and an $8,000 fine.

The defendant is out of custody on $100,000 bail. His arraignment is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 3 at 8:30 a.m. in Department H-8, Harbor Justice Center, Newport Beach.

At the time of the crime, Li owned and operated Massage Clover in San Clemente. Li is accused of working as a licensed massage therapist. Between June 4, 2014, and Oct. 4, 2014, Li is accused of committing sexual battery by inappropriately touching a coworker and a client on four separate occasions. The victims reported the crimes to OCSD, which investigated this case.
