San Juan Capistrano Sends Two Division 1 Teams To Girls Soccer Playoffs

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — The CIF Southern Section Division 1 Girls Soccer brackets are out, leaving high schools across the southland scrambling to see where they fall in the coming playoffs.

In San Juan Capistrano, two High School girls soccer teams were bracketed for play for the 2022 playoff season.

San Juan Hills, #2 in the South Coast League (13-2-4), will face Santa Margarita, #2 in the Trinity League (10-4-2) at home.

Capistrano Valley, #1 in the Sea View League (18-1-3), will face JSerra, #3 in the Trinity League (5-4-8).

Games and times may vary and be updated in the first round of Division 1 CIF-SS playoffs.

(Team listed first will be hosting the first game in the contest for the Southern Section title).

The final CIF-SS Division 1 poll, released Tuesday, placed Santiago in the tops spot, Temecula Valley at #2 for the region with Harvard Westlake, last year's top winner, at #3.
