Peninsula Rolex Robbery Under Investigation
The 85-year-old victim suffered minor injuries when the robbers forcefully pulled the watch off his wrist, police said.
FOSTER CITY, CA — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in their investigation of an armed robbery involving a $30,000 Rolex watch Wednesday afternoon, the Foster City Police Department said.
The robbery involved an 85-year-old victim who suffered minor injuries when the robbers forcefully pulled the watch off his wrist, police said.
The same suspects had previously attempted to use a fake jewelry rouse on the victim in the Costco parking lot, but the victim refused and walked into Costco, police said.

The suspects followed the victim home and confronted him upon exiting his vehicle, according to police.

Officers at around 5:45 p.m. Wednesday responded to Shearwater Isle on the report of a robbery involving two suspects and conducted an extensive search of the area, police said.
The suspects fled in a newer model white Chevy Tahoe. No weapons were seen or used.
The victim described the suspects as a white Eastern European male adult, around 5-foot-8 and weighing 160 pounds with dark-colored hair and wearing a multicolored T-shirt, and a white Eastern European female adult, around 5’-7” with a stocky build and dark shoulder-length hair.
Residential security cameras and the city’s automated license plate reader were used to identify the suspect vehicle, police said.
