Argument Between Brothers In San Mateo Leads To Attempted Murder
One brother shot the other in the face after a "heated argument" on Christmas Eve at a San Mateo residence, according to police.
SAN MATEO, CA — A Christmas Eve argument between two brothers in a San Mateo home ended with one of them shooting the other in the face, according to the San Mateo Police Department.
Camerino CruzPineda, a 32-year-old San Mateo resident, was charged with attempted murder in the incident that happened around 8 p.m. on Dec. 24 in the 600 block of North Claremont Street.
CruzPineda’s brother, 30, was treated at a local trauma center for non-life threatening injuries. He had a “heated argument” at the residence before shooting his brother in the face, according to police.

Police arrested CruzPineda as he was leaving the home in the morning on Christmas Day.
