10 a.m. - CSM Blood Drive
Location: College of San Mateo DaVinci Lot 3, 1700 W. Hillsdale Blvd., San Mateo
Description: Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. More than 44,000 blood donations are needed every day.
Blood donors must:
  • Be healthy
  • Be at least 17 years of age or 16 years with parental consent
  • Weigh at least 110 lbs.

6 p.m. - 8 p.m.: Pet Vaccination and Microchip Clinics
Location: Peninsula Humane Society
Description: The Peninsula Humane Society/SPCA holds Vaccination Clinics on the first Wednesday of every month from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in its Auditorium. These low-cost clinics provide vaccinations for rabies, FVRCP and DHPP, as well as microchips -- a permanent form of companion animal identification.
