DUI Arrests Surge In Peninsula City: Cops
South San Francisco has seen a 62 percent increase in DUI arrests this year, police said.
SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — At least one Peninsula city has seen a surge in DUI arrests this year.
As of Tuesday morning, 112 DUI arrests have been made this year in South San Francisco, a 62 percent increase of the same time period last year, when the agency made 69 DUI arrests.
"We are proud to say the men and women of the South San Francisco Police Department are performing outstanding work on DUI enforcement and arrests this year," the agency wrote on its Facebook page.
