Foster City Rolex Burglary Suspects Arrested: Cops
The Rolex valued at $30,000 was recovered will be returned to the victim, police said.
FOSTER CITY, CA — Three suspects were arrested Thursday in connection with the strong-armed robbery of an elderly Peninsula man the previous day in which a $30,000 Rolex watch was stolen, the Foster City Police Department said.
The three suspects were arrested in the Central Valley after a license-reading camera in the city of Galt located the suspect vehicle, a Chevrolet Tahoe captured on a Costco store security camera.
Alexandra Gheorghe, 18 (no known address), Cau Michlescu 22 of Spring Hill, Florida, and Robert Miclescu, 30 of Sacramento, were arrested on suspicion of robbery, elder abuse with injury and conspiracy, police said.

The Rolex was recovered will be returned to the victim, police said.
Officers at around 5:45 p.m. Wednesday responded to Shearwater Isle on the report of a robbery involving two suspects and conducted an extensive search of the area, police said.

The robbery involved an 85-year-old victim who suffered minor injuries when the robbers forcefully pulled the watch off his wrist, police said.
The same suspects had previously attempted to use a fake jewelry rouse on the victim in the Costco parking lot, but the victim refused and walked into Costco, police said.
The suspects followed the victim home and confronted him upon exiting his vehicle, according to police.
The suspects fled in a newer model white Chevy Tahoe. No weapons were seen or used.
