Missing At-Risk 89-Year-Old Peninsula Man Sought

Julio Vasquez was last seen at about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in South San Francisco, according to police.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — The California Highway Patrol issued a silver alert late Wednesday night for an 89-year-old at-risk man.

Julio Vasquez was last seen at about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in South San Francisco, according to the alert issued on behalf of that city's police department.

The alert describes Vasquez as 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing about 130 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be on foot and was last seen wearing a gray kangol-style hat, gray jacket and dark blue sweatpants.

The alert advises anyone who sees Vasquez to please call 911.
