Police Seek Help Finding San Mateo Sexual Assault Suspect

Police released surveillance video and pictures of the man they say sexually assaulted a woman in the parking lot of a local bank.

SAN MATEO, CA — San Mateo police on Thursday asked for the public's help finding a man who they say sexually assaulted a woman in the parking lot of a local bank last month.

Police say that on May 20, as the woman was walking to her car at the Bank of America in the 300 block of S. El Camino Real, a man sexually battered her.

"The suspect sexually assaulted a woman after accosting her in the parking lot," police said in a news release.

Police described the suspect as a man about 5 feet 4 inches tall weighing about 120 pounds. They released the surveillance images which you can view above, and video of the suspect can be found here.

"Anyone with information is urged to contact police immediately," police said.
