Popular Peninsula Eatery Burglarized

The restaurant's front glass door was shattered and around $600 in cash and six iPads valued at $1,500 were stolen, police said.

DALY CITY, CA — A popular Peninsula eatery was burglarized last week, Daly City police said.

The crime at Spicy House (6811 Mission Street) happened at around 6 a.m. Sept. 8, police said.

The restaurant’s front glass door was shattered and a cash register containing around $600 in cash and six iPads valued at approximately $1,500 were stolen, police said.

The restaurant’s cash register system was damaged during the burglary and will cost around $2,000 to replace.

The investigation is continuing, police said.
