Power Out To 35K Peninsula Customers: PG&E Update

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — PG&E has completed repairs on a huge power outage on the San Francisco Peninsula, with 35,535 customers reported offline at its peak.

The outage, blamed on equipment problems, was first reported at 8:26 a.m.

Repairs brought homes and businesses back online several thousand at a time, with all power restored by around 2 p.m.
