Sandbags Available To San Mateo Residents Ahead Of Rain Next Week
The two self-service locations are the Anchor Road Sand Station and City of San Mateo Corporation Yard.
SAN MATEO, CA — As rain is set to return to the Bay Area beginning Sunday into early next week, the city of San Mateo has sandbags available if residents need them.
The two self-service locations are the Anchor Road Sand Station at 2037 E. 3rd Ave. and City of San Mateo Corporation Yard at 1949 Pacific Blvd. Both are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The sandbags are available to San Mateo residents and property owners only, with a maximum of 10 bags per vehicle. Residents are asked to bring their own shovel and be able to fill the bags themselves.
